I recently had the pleasure of spending some of my summer days in Sicily with a group of amazing friends. The architecture, natural beauty, and relaxed vibe of the local residents were an inspiration to me.

We visited the Cathedral of St. George, walked alongside the abundant bougainvillea while admiring intricate ceramic and tile staircases, and enjoyed the world’s best gelato. Beauty and vibrant color were everywhere.

Sicily is the largest island in the Mediterranean Sea and the archeological evidence of human activity dates as far back as 12,000 BC. It’s hard not to be humbled by walking on land that has been the site of so many years of art, music, literature, cuisine, and architecture.

Travel has always inspired my creativity and spending summer nights in Sicily ignited my passion for blending classic style with modern flare and seeing the resulting harmonies. Wherever your moments have been spent this summer, I hope that you, too, have found new and beautiful things that inspire you!
